I've Fallen In Love With These Pants

... and I don't care who knows it. 

I really can't handle these pants right now, in the best possible way. 

I can file this pair of pants  under the "items of clothing I love that other people in my life will probably find hideous" category. It's a bold look, to be sure. Pairing a strong pattern with another pattern (like how J.Crew styled their Collection Cafe Capri, above) is a biiiiiig step out of most individuals' comfort zones. However, I think that a patterned pant is the perfect "Look at me" outfit component that is fairly easy to pull-off. To wear these pants in a more casual setting, I'd pair them with a chambray button-down and flats. When I first saw these pants, however, I envisioned a great going-out outfit consisting of a black, long-sleeve crop and black high-heeled booties. I think that the pattern and shape of the pant really lends itself to a high-heel (pump, wedge, OR boot), and creates a more flattering shape. I know that many women are wary of printed bottoms because they draw so much attention to the hips/legs... but some added height will help that!
