Vogue Flashback: "The Chronicles of Keira" (June 2007)

A picture of Keira Knightley popped up on my Twitter feed today, and it had me recalling one of my favorite Vogue shoots/interviews, titled "The Chronicles of Keira" (June 2007). First of all, how beautiful is the African savannah setting? That in itself makes the editorial special... but when you factor in the classic fashion choices and Keira's flawless looks, you get one memorable spread. My personal favorites? Keira in that long, ruffled skirt with a classic white button-down and a panama hat... oh, and that baby elephant in a Louis blanket.

I mean, I don't know who puts a baby elephant in a Louis blanket. But I'm not questioning it.
