And Your Bird Can Sing

I've always been meaning to blog. 

For me, writing is a both a means of collecting my thoughts and an outlet to properly reflect on them. We have have so much "stuff" floating around in our heads at all times, you know? I'm currently in grad school for Speech Pathology, and while it is my passion, it doesn't exactly afford me the luxury to be as creative as I want to be. I used to draw more, [non-academically] write more, and [non-academically] read more before my life became consumed with all things grad school. Obviously, as someone who is preparing for her career, that's okay. But I do miss being able to express myself in ways past treatment plans, diagnostic reports, and case studies. Enter this blog. 

"And Your Bird Can Sing" is among my favorite Beatles songs. I decided on it as my blog's namesake because it's such a cheerful sounding tune, and it popped in my head when I was brainstorming name ideas. I want to be able to write about the things I'm passionate about outside of school, and hopefully that will translate into something happy and fun. So here it is!
